“Der dunkelste Ort der Welt” is a picture book written and illustrated by award winning author Nicole Kanter. The aim of this promo video was to transfer the stills into moving images without losing their hand drawn look and feel. The elements are animated in a cut out style, which corresponds to the way a comic book indicates movement. The objective of the video was to animate the opening image to a catchy music as a teaser for an upcoming release.
